A Lighter Version of Classic Buffalo Chicken Wings
Ingredients List
-
½ cup all-purpose flour
-
¼ teaspoon paprika
-
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
-
¼ teaspoon salt
-
10 chicken wings
-
2 tablespoons butter
-
¼ cup hot sauce
-
1 clove garlic, minced
-
1 dash ground black pepper
Instructions
-
In a small bowl, mix together flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt. Place the chicken wings in a large bowl, then coat them with the flour mixture. Transfer the wings to a baking sheet and refrigerate for 1 hour, uncovered.
-
Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
-
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes on each side, until the meat is no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear.
-
In a small saucepan, combine butter, hot sauce, pepper, and garlic. Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the butter has melted and the sauce is well-combined, about 3 minutes. Toss the cooked wings in the sauce and serve.
