Angie's Dad's Famous Cabbage Coleslaw

Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, toss together shredded cabbage, chopped onion, grated carrots, and diced celery. Sprinkle with 1 cup of sugar and toss to combine. In a small saucepan, whisk together vinegar, oil, salt, dry mustard, and pepper, then bring to a boil. Pour the hot dressing over the cabbage mixture and stir to coat thoroughly.
