Bacon-Wrapped Giant Meatballs

3 pounds ground beef

3 eggs

½ cup dry bread crumbs

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

¼ cup chopped fresh parsley

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon dried oregano
-
1 teaspoon dried basil

1 pound sliced bacon, cut in half crosswise
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Shape the mixture into 2-inch meatballs.

Take one half-slice of bacon and wrap it around each meatball, turning it 45 degrees to wrap another half-slice, fully enclosing the meatball. Repeat for all the meatballs, using two half-slices of bacon per meatball. Place them seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until they are fully cooked and the bacon is crispy. An instant-read thermometer should register at least 160°F (70°C) when inserted into the center. Discard any excess grease.
