Instructions
Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.

Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Add the sweet potatoes and cook for about 15 minutes, until just undercooked. Drain and allow them to cool before peeling.

While the potatoes cool, melt 2 cups of marshmallows, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the marshmallows have fully melted.

Fold the potatoes into the marshmallow sauce, mashing half of the potatoes and breaking the remaining ones into small chunks. Transfer everything into the greased baking dish.
