Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Lightly grease a casserole dish and arrange the chicken in a single, even layer.

In a bowl, mix together the soup, sour cream, and onion soup mix. Spread this mixture evenly over the chicken, then sprinkle with pepper.

In a separate bowl, combine the stuffing mix and chicken broth. Spread the stuffing mixture over the chicken and add small pats of butter on top.

Bake in the preheated oven until golden and bubbly, and the chicken is fully cooked (about 50-60 minutes). Use an instant-read thermometer to check that the chicken's center reaches at least 165°F (74°C).
