Classic Homemade Italian Beef
Ingredients Needed

3 pounds beef chuck roast

3 (1 ounce) packages dry Italian salad dressing mix

1 cup water

1 (16 ounce) jar pepperoncini peppers

8 hamburger buns, split
Instructions
Place the roast in the slow cooker, then sprinkle the dressing mix on top. Add water around the roast. Cover and cook on High for 5 to 6 hours, or until the meat is tender and easily shredded with a fork.
Remove the meat and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded meat to the slow cooker, then add pepperoncini and as much of the pepperoncini juice as you prefer for extra flavor. Cover and cook for an additional hour.
Serve on rolls.
