Creamy Shrimp Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients List

1 (16 ounce) jar Alfredo-style pasta sauce

1 (16 ounce) package angel hair pasta

2 pounds fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 cup butter, melted

½ small green bell pepper, diced

½ small red onion, finely chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon ground cumin
Instructions

In a saucepan, warm the Alfredo sauce over low heat. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, then add the pasta and cook for 8 minutes or until al dente. Drain the pasta.

Boil the shrimp in a separate pot of water until they turn pink. Transfer the shrimp to a bowl with melted butter, letting them marinate for 15 to 30 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the bowl. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the green pepper and onion in a little oil.

Combine the cooked pasta, shrimp, sautéed vegetables, and Alfredo sauce in a large bowl. Season with garlic powder and cumin to taste.
