Crispy Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Breasts with Asparagus and Cheese in the Air Fryer

Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) as per the manufacturer's guidelines.

Pat the chicken dry using paper towels. To butterfly, slice the chicken breasts horizontally through the thickest part, being careful not to cut all the way through. Open up the two halves like a book.

Season both sides with lemon pepper seasoning. Place one slice of cheese on each chicken breast. Cut the asparagus spears in half and arrange 4 halves on top of the cheese. Roll the chicken around the cheese and asparagus, ensuring the stuffing stays inside. Wrap each chicken breast with 3 slices of bacon and secure the ends with toothpicks.

Place the bacon-wrapped chicken breasts into the air fryer basket and cook for 15 minutes. Flip them over and cook for an additional 15 minutes. Check the internal temperature of the chicken using a meat thermometer – it should read 165°F (74°C).
Cooking Tips
Feel free to swap garlic-lime pepper or seasoned salt in place of lemon-pepper seasoning for a different flavor twist.
