Crispy Breaded Baked Pork Chops
Ingredients Needed
-
6 pork chop cutlets
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
-
¼ cup all-purpose flour
-
2 large eggs, beaten
-
2 cups dry bread crumbs
-
¼ cup olive oil
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
-
Season the pork chops with garlic powder and seasoning salt. Coat each chop in flour, shaking off the excess. Dip into beaten eggs, allowing any extra egg to drip back into the bowl. Press into breadcrumbs to cover both sides evenly. Arrange the breaded chops in a single layer on a plate.
-
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the pork chops and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Transfer the chops to a 9x13-inch baking dish and cover with foil.
-
Bake the pork chops in the preheated oven for 60 to 90 minutes, or until fully cooked. A meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the chop should read 145°F (63°C).
Cooking Tip
If you're using a dark-colored baking dish, lower the oven temperature to 325°F (165°C) for optimal results.
