Use a masher to mash the chickpeas in a bowl. Then, blend the mashed chickpeas with onions, parsley, and garlic until smooth.

In a bowl, combine eggs, cumin, coriander, salt, lemon juice, baking powder, black pepper, and cayenne. Add the chickpea mixture and stir to blend. Gradually add breadcrumbs and mix with your hands until the mixture holds together when formed into patties for frying.
