Crispy Oven-Baked Moroccan Chicken Wings with Creamy Yogurt Sauce
Ingredients Needed
For the Chicken Wings:

2 ½ pounds chicken wings

1 ½ tablespoons vegetable oil

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon ground cumin

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

¼ teaspoon ground turmeric

For the Yogurt Sauce:

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 ½ tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint

1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

½ teaspoon salt, or more to taste

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper, or more to taste
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with non-stick aluminum foil.

Place the chicken wings in a large bowl, drizzle with oil, and toss until evenly coated.

In a small bowl, mix together paprika, cumin, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cayenne pepper, turmeric, and black pepper. Sprinkle the spice blend over the wings and toss to coat.

Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are spaced apart.

Bake the wings for 40-45 minutes, or until the meat is no longer pink and the juices run clear. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165°F (74°C).

While the wings bake, prepare the yogurt dip: Mix yogurt, lemon juice, honey, mint, cilantro, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper as desired.

Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and transfer to a serving platter. Serve alongside the yogurt dip.
