3 large potatoes, sliced lengthwise into 1/2-inch circles and cut into 1/2-inch strips

Instructions

Heat a mixture of olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.

Add potato strips and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden and crisp on all sides, about 20 to 25 minutes.

Remove fries and place on a paper towel-lined plate, then sprinkle with sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
