Delicious Savory Portobello Mushroom Burgers

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

2 cloves garlic, minced

½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (Optional)

1 pinch salt and ground black pepper

4 large portobello mushrooms, stems removed

4 kaiser rolls, split
Instructions

Heat the grill to medium-high and lightly grease the grates.

In a bowl, combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture over both sides of the mushroom caps, and let them marinate for 10 minutes.

Grill the mushrooms on the preheated grill with the lid closed, flipping once, until they are golden brown and tender, about 10 minutes. Serve on kaiser rolls.
Helpful Hints
You can enhance the mushrooms with a topping of mayonnaise, fresh tomatoes, and either shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese.
Personally, I like to add roasted red peppers and creamy goat cheese on top.
