Eggs in Creamy Sauce on Toast

¼ cup butter

½ cup all-purpose flour

3 cups milk

1 tablespoon chicken bouillon granules

6 slices white bread, lightly toasted

Instructions

Separate the egg yolks from the whites. Mash the yolks with a fork and chop the egg whites into small pieces. Set them aside.

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour to create a smooth mixture. Slowly add milk and chicken bouillon, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens and comes to a boil. Mix in the mashed yolks and stir until fully incorporated, then add the chopped egg whites.

Spoon the creamy mixture over toast and season with salt and white pepper to taste.
