Flavored Turkey Burgers

Ingredients List
-
1 ½ pounds ground turkey
-
1 large egg, lightly beaten (Optional)
-
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
-
1 ½ tablespoons soy sauce
-
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
-
½ teaspoon garlic powder
-
6 hamburger buns, split
Instructions
-
In a large bowl, combine turkey, egg, onion soup mix, soy sauce, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix thoroughly and refrigerate for about 10 minutes. Then, shape the mixture into 6 even patties.
-
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grill grates.
-
Grill the turkey patties, turning once, until the center is no longer pink and the juices run clear—about 20 minutes. Use an instant-read thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Serve the burgers on buns.
