Grilled BBQ Steak

Ingredients List

1 small onion, chopped

7 cloves garlic

½ cup olive oil

½ cup vinegar

½ cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary

2 tablespoons Dijon-style prepared mustard

2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 (2 pound) tri-tip steak

1 tablespoon vegetable oil, or more as needed, for greasing
Instructions

Combine onion, garlic, olive oil, vinegar, soy sauce, rosemary, mustard, salt, and pepper in a food processor. Blend until the marinade reaches a smooth consistency.

Place the steak in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for about 3 hours.

Preheat your grill to high heat and lightly oil the grill grate.

Take the steak out of the marinade and discard the marinade. Grill the steak on the preheated grate, cooking for about 7 minutes per side or until your preferred doneness is achieved.
