Grilled Italian-Style BBQ Pork Chops

Ingredients for BBQ Pork Chops
-
¾ cup balsamic vinegar
-
½ cup ketchup
-
¼ cup brown sugar
-
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
-
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
-
1 clove garlic, minced
-
½ teaspoon salt
-
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
-
cooking spray
-
4 (6 ounce) pork loin chops
-
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
-
Combine balsamic vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic, salt, and black pepper in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Let the mixture simmer for about 20 minutes, then remove from heat and set aside for 5 minutes to cool slightly.
-
Preheat your grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grill grate to prevent sticking.
-
Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper. Pour a small amount of the sauce into a separate bowl and brush the pork chops with the sauce. Discard any leftover sauce from the bowl after use.
-
Grill the pork chops for about 5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Let the pork chops rest for 3 minutes before serving. Serve with the remaining sauce on the side for dipping.
