Grilled Venison Steaks with a Flavorful Marinade
Ingredients List
-
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
-
2 tablespoons soy sauce
-
½ lime, juiced
-
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
-
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
-
1 teaspoon dry mustard
-
½ teaspoon Kosher salt
-
¼ teaspoon thyme
-
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
-
¼ teaspoon dried, minced garlic
-
3 dashes hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®), or to taste
-
2 (4 ounce) venison steaks
Instructions
In a bowl, combine Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, chopped onion, red pepper flakes, dry mustard, salt, thyme, black pepper, garlic, and hot sauce. Pour the mixture into a resealable bag. Add venison steaks, ensuring they are well-coated with the marinade. Seal the bag, remove excess air, and refrigerate for at least one hour to allow the flavors to meld.

Grill the steaks over the preheated heat until they are firm to the touch, hot in the center, and transitioning from pink to grey—approximately 5 minutes per side. The internal temperature should reach 150°F (65°C) when checked with a meat thermometer.
