1 cup elbow macaroni

6 ounces Cheddar cheese, shredded (about 1 1/2 cups)
Instructions
Prepare all ingredients before starting.

In a large, heavy-bottomed pot, heat over medium-high heat. Add the beef and onion, cooking while stirring occasionally, until the beef is browned, crumbled, and no longer pink, about 7 minutes. Remove and discard any excess fat.

Add tomato paste, ketchup, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, paprika, and pepper to the beef mixture. Cook, stirring continuously, until the spices become fragrant, about 2 minutes.

Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil over high heat. Add the macaroni and reduce the heat to medium. Let it simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed, about 13 to 15 minutes.
