Honey-Balsamic Marinated Flat Iron Steak

Ingredients List
-
3 tablespoons honey
-
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
-
3 tablespoons olive oil
-
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
-
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
-
½ teaspoon dried tarragon
-
½ teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
-
½ teaspoon garlic powder
-
½ teaspoon white pepper
-
1 pinch salt
-
1 ½ pounds flat iron steak
Cooking Instructions
-
In a large bowl, whisk together honey, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, tarragon, rosemary, garlic powder, white pepper, and salt until well blended. Pour the mixture into a resealable plastic bag. Add the flat iron steak, ensuring it's fully coated with the marinade. Seal the bag, remove excess air, and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
-
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
-
Take the steak out of the marinade, discarding any excess marinade. Grill the steak on the preheated grill, cooking for about 4 minutes per side for medium-rare. To check for doneness, use an instant-read thermometer — it should read 140°F (60°C) for medium-rare.
