Instant Pot Crispy Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients List
-
2 tablespoons olive oil
-
1 onion, chopped
-
1 pound whole Brussels sprouts
-
1 teaspoon salt
-
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
-
½ cup vegetable broth
Instructions
Begin by setting your Instant Pot (or any multi-functional pressure cooker) to the Sauté mode. Add olive oil and heat it in the pot; once hot, sauté the onions until they turn translucent, about 2 minutes. Add the Brussels sprouts and stir for another minute. Season with salt and pepper, then pour in the vegetable broth. Secure the lid, set the cooker to high pressure according to the manufacturer's instructions, and adjust the timer to 3 minutes. Wait for the pressure to build, which may take 10-15 minutes.
Carefully release the pressure using the quick-release method, following the manufacturer's guidelines, for about 5 minutes. Once done, unlock and remove the lid.
