Kalbi, also known as Korean BBQ Short Ribs, is a flavorful dish featuring marinated beef ribs grilled to perfection.

Ingredients List
-
¾ cup soy sauce
-
¾ cup brown sugar
-
¾ cup water
-
2 green onions, chopped
-
1 garlic clove, minced
-
1 tablespoon Asian (toasted) sesame oil
-
2 pounds Korean-style short ribs (beef chuck flanken, cut ⅓ to ½ inch thick across bones)
Instructions
Begin by gathering all the necessary ingredients.
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, water, green onions, garlic, and sesame oil, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
Place the ribs in a large resealable plastic bag, pour the marinade over them, remove excess air, and seal the bag. Refrigerate for 3 hours to marinate.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grill grate. Take the ribs out of the bag, shaking off any excess marinade, and discard the remaining marinade. Grill the ribs for 5 to 7 minutes on each side, until the meat is cooked through but still pink near the bone, not bloody.
