1 lemon, juiced

Cooking Instructions

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers. Add the cod fillets, squeezing the juice of half a lemon over them. Season with black pepper to taste. Cook for about 4 minutes before flipping the fillets. Squeeze the remaining lemon juice over the top and season with more pepper. Continue cooking until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
