1 (2 pound) flank steak or round steak
Instructions

In a small bowl, combine garlic, soy sauce, vegetable oil, ketchup, oregano, and black pepper. Use a fork to pierce the meat on both sides. Place the meat and marinade in a large resealable bag, then refrigerate for at least 8 hours, or overnight.

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Lightly oil the grill grate. Remove the meat from the marinade and discard the excess. Grill the steak for 5 to 8 minutes per side, depending on thickness. For best results, avoid overcooking—aim for a rare to medium-rare finish.
