Make-Ahead Breakfast Bars Recipe

Ingredients List
-
cooking spray
-
3 cups frozen Southern-style hash browns
-
4 eggs, lightly beaten
-
1 cup cubed fully cooked ham
-
1 cup shredded Cheddar-Monterey Jack cheese blend
-
½ teaspoon onion powder
-
¼ teaspoon salt
-
⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly coat an 8x11-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Combine hash browns, eggs, ham, Cheddar-Jack cheese, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and gently shake the dish to evenly distribute the ingredients.
Bake the dish, uncovered, in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown. Let it cool before cutting into bars.

Cook's Tip:
The baking time listed assumes you're using frozen hash browns. If you're using thawed hash browns or fresh potatoes, the cooking time will be shorter.
