Maple-Glazed Ribs

Ingredients List
-
3 pounds baby back pork ribs
-
¾ cup maple syrup
-
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
-
2 tablespoons ketchup
-
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
-
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
-
½ teaspoon salt
-
½ teaspoon mustard powder
Instructions
-
Place the ribs in a large pot and cover with water. Cover the pot and simmer for 1 hour or until the meat is tender. Drain the water, then transfer the ribs to a shallow dish.
-
In a small saucepan, mix together maple syrup, brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and mustard powder. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, cooking for 5 minutes while stirring occasionally. Let it cool slightly before pouring it over the ribs. Refrigerate for 2 hours to marinate.
-
Prepare the grill for indirect heat cooking. Remove the ribs from the marinade. Pour the marinade into a small saucepan and bring it to a boil for several minutes.
-
Lightly oil the grill grate. Cook the ribs for about 20 minutes, basting frequently with the reduced marinade, until the ribs are beautifully glazed.
