½ pound wild Pacific salmon fillets, cut into 1-inch cubes

½ cup oil for frying
Instructions

In a bowl, combine the cayenne pepper, turmeric, and salt. Add the salmon and toss to coat. Let the mixture sit for 15 minutes.

Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. While the oil heats, sprinkle cornstarch over the salmon and toss to coat evenly.

Cook the salmon in the hot oil until golden brown, about 1 minute per side.
