Morning Pizza
Ingredients List
-
1 pound ground breakfast sausage
-
1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
-
1 cup frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
-
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
-
5 large eggs
-
¼ cup milk
-
½ teaspoon salt
-
⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
-
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
-
Cook the breakfast sausage in a large skillet until browned and crumbly, about 10 minutes. Drain off any excess fat, and set the sausage aside.
-
Unroll the crescent-roll dough and arrange the triangles in a deep 12-inch pizza pan, with the points facing inward. Press the dough together and pinch the edges so it rises 1 ½ inches along the sides of the pan.
-
Spread the cooked sausage evenly over the dough. Layer the hash browns on top, followed by a generous sprinkling of Cheddar cheese. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth, then pour the egg mixture over the cheese. Top with a sprinkle of Parmesan.
-
Bake in the preheated oven until the eggs are set and the crust is golden brown, about 25 to 30 minutes.
