Oven-Baked Boneless Chicken Thighs
Ingredients List
-
1 1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
-
1 1/4 teaspoons garlic powder
-
1 1/4 teaspoons white sugar
-
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
-
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
-
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
-
1/2 teaspoon salt
-
2 tablespoons olive oil
-
1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
-
fresh snipped herbs (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
In a large resealable plastic bag, mix together smoked paprika, garlic powder, sugar, black pepper, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and salt. Add oil and gently squeeze the bag to combine the spices and oil.
Add the chicken thighs to the bag, press out as much air as possible, and seal the bag. Gently massage the bag until the chicken is evenly coated in the spice mixture and oil. Remove the chicken and arrange it in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven, uncovered, until the chicken is fully cooked with no pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 25 minutes. An instant-read thermometer should register at least 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part of the chicken.
