Pasta with Smoked Salmon and Pesto

Ingredients Needed

5 ounces smoked salmon, cut into small pieces

1 clove crushed garlic

2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms

¾ cup prepared basil pesto sauce

3 tablespoons tomato paste

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil

¼ cup water

8 ounces spaghetti
Cooking Instructions

Boil pasta in a large pot of salted water until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and mushrooms. Cook until the onion turns translucent and the mushrooms soften. Stir in smoked salmon, pesto, tomato paste, fresh basil, and a splash of water. Let the sauce simmer until it reaches the desired thickness, about 5 to 10 minutes.
