Pork Chops with Pear Sauce

3 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons lemon juice

¾ cup pear juice

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, or to taste

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

6 thin cut boneless pork chops
Instructions

In a medium saucepan, combine pears, brown sugar, lemon juice, pear juice, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens.

Transfer the sauce to a blender and blend until smooth. Return the sauce to the saucepan, cover, and simmer on low heat for an additional 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool.

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the pork chops for 8 minutes, turning once, until fully cooked. Drizzle with the pear sauce before serving.
