Roasted Broccoli

¼ cup olive oil

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 ½ tablespoons lemon juice

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon dried oregano (Optional)

½ teaspoon dried thyme (Optional)

1 pinch salt

1 pinch fresh ground black pepper

1 pound broccoli florets
Directions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a bowl, combine olive oil, brown sugar, lemon juice, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed. Add the broccoli florets and toss them until evenly coated with the seasoning. Arrange the broccoli on a rimmed baking sheet.

Roast in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the tops of the broccoli are golden brown.
