Sautéed Broccoli and Brussels Sprout Bliss

2 cups broccoli florets

8 Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

1 small tomato, seeded and diced

¼ teaspoon salt

⅛ teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions for Preparation

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring frequently, for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant. Add the broccoli and Brussels sprouts, followed by the tomato and the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Season with salt and red pepper flakes to taste.

Stir the mixture to ensure it's well combined, then cover and cook until one side is golden brown, about 5 minutes. Flip the veggies, cover again, and cook for another 4 minutes, or until the other side is browned.
