Simple and Delicious Cheeseburger Pie

Ingredients List
-
cooking spray
-
1 pound lean (at least 80%) ground beef
-
1 large onion, chopped
-
1 cup milk
-
½ cup Original Bisquick® mix
-
2 large eggs
-
½ teaspoon salt
-
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch glass pie dish with cooking spray.
-
In a nonstick skillet, cook the beef and onion over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the beef is browned and crumbled, about 8 to 10 minutes.
-
In a separate small bowl, whisk together the milk, Bisquick, and eggs until well combined.
-
Drain the cooked beef and onion, then transfer to the prepared pie pan. Stir in salt, top with Cheddar cheese, and pour the Bisquick mixture over the ingredients.
-
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cooking Tip
If you're baking at a higher elevation (3500 to 6500 feet), extend the baking time to 30 to 35 minutes for best results.
