Simple and Delicious Pepperoni Pizza Muffins

1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated buttermilk biscuit dough

10 tablespoons pizza sauce (such as Ragu Homestyle)

10 slices pepperoni

10 tablespoons shredded mozzarella cheese, or as needed
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly grease a 10-cup muffin tin with cooking spray.
Gently flatten each biscuit by pressing it between your palms, then press it into the bottom and sides of a muffin cup. Allow the dough to rest and rise slightly for about 5 minutes, then gently press it into the cups if needed.
Add 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce to each muffin cup, followed by a slice of pepperoni and a tablespoon of mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the cheese is bubbly. Remove the pizza muffins from the tin and cool on a wire rack for about 5 minutes.
