Simple Chicken Fajita Marinade

2 tablespoons lime juice

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons garlic powder

½ teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon ground black pepper

3 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into strips
Instructions

Gather all the ingredients.

In a medium bowl, whisk together vegetable oil, chili powder, lime juice, honey, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper until smooth.

Place the chicken strips in a large resealable bag. Add the marinade, knead to coat the chicken, then seal the bag and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.

Preheat the grill to medium-high and lightly oil the grate. Remove the chicken from the marinade, discarding any leftover marinade.

Grill the chicken, turning occasionally, for about 10 minutes per side or until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center. An instant-read thermometer should register at least 160°F (70°C).
