Slow Cooker Breakfast Casserole

1 tablespoon ground mustard

1 (16 ounce) package maple-flavored sausage

1 (16 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions

Coat the slow cooker insert with cooking spray and layer hash browns on the bottom.

In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, mustard, salt, and black pepper.

Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain off the grease and spread the cooked sausage over the hash browns. Top with Cheddar cheese, then pour the egg mixture on top.

Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours, until set.
