Slow Cooker Homestyle Kalua Pork with Cabbage

1 (5 pound) bone-in pork shoulder roast

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

½ large head cabbage, shredded
Cooking Instructions

In a bowl, mix together salt, pepper, and ground ginger. Rub this spice blend evenly onto the pork roast, then place the roast in the slow cooker.

In another bowl, whisk together soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and liquid smoke. Pour the mixture over the pork roast in the slow cooker. Cover the cooker.

Cook on Low for 10 hours. Add the cabbage to the slow cooker and cook for an additional 30 minutes. Shred the pork before serving.
