Ingredients Needed

1 (16 ounce) package elbow macaroni

1 pound lean ground beef

1 large onion, chopped

2 cups tomato sauce

2 (4.5 ounce) cans mushrooms, drained

2 teaspoons minced garlic

salt and pepper to taste

1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
Cooking Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until al dente; drain and transfer to a large pan.

In a large skillet, brown the beef over medium heat, adding the onions just before the beef finishes cooking.

Combine the beef mixture with the pasta, then stir in tomato sauce, mushrooms, garlic, salt, pepper, and stewed tomatoes. Simmer on low for 10 to 15 minutes, or until fully heated.
