Spaghetti with Crispy Bacon

1 (16 ounce) package spaghetti

¼ cup olive oil

8 strips bacon, cut into 1/4 inch pieces

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
Cooking Instructions

Fill a large pot with salted water and bring to a vigorous boil over high heat. Add the spaghetti and return to a boil. Cook the pasta, stirring occasionally, until al dente, about 12 minutes. Drain well using a colander.

While the pasta cooks, heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon and cook until it starts to crisp, about 3 minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook, stirring frequently, until the garlic softens and the bacon becomes crispy, about 5 minutes.

Toss the cooked spaghetti with the crispy bacon, garlic, and oil mixture. Stir in the fresh parsley, then serve and enjoy.
