Spinach and Bacon Quiche

Ingredients
-
¾ pound sliced bacon
-
1 (9 inch) single refrigerated pie crust
-
6 large eggs, beaten
-
1 ½ cups heavy cream
-
5 dashes hot pepper sauce, or to taste
-
2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
-
salt and ground black pepper to taste
-
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach - thawed, drained and squeezed dry
-
1 ½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese
-
½ cup chopped green onion
-
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
-
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
-
Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until crispy and browned, about 10 minutes. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate and chop once cooled.
-
Fit the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
-
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
-
Layer spinach at the bottom of the pie crust. Add cooked bacon, Cheddar cheese, and green onions, then pour the egg mixture over and sprinkle with Parmesan.
-
Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden and puffed, and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cooking Tips
Feel free to modify the amounts of spinach, green onions, bacon, and cheese based on your preferences.
To avoid any mess, place a baking sheet under the quiche pan while it bakes to catch any potential spills.
