The Best Turkey Recipe Ever

1 (12 pound) whole turkey, neck and giblets removed

½ cup butter, cubed

2 apples, cored and halved

1 tablespoon garlic powder

⅔ (750 milliliter) bottle Champagne
Step-by-Step Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Rinse the turkey and pat it dry. Carefully loosen the skin on the breast and place small pats of butter underneath. Stuff the turkey cavity with apples, then season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Place the turkey in a roasting bag and pour Champagne over both the inside and outside. Seal the bag and position the turkey in a roasting pan.
Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for 3 to 3 1/2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 180°F (85°C) in the thickest part of the thigh. Remove from the roasting bag and allow the turkey to rest for at least 20 minutes before carving.
