Whole Wheat Pasta

Ingredients List
-
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
-
1 ½ cups whole wheat flour
-
½ teaspoon sea salt
-
4 eggs
-
2 teaspoons olive oil
Instructions
-
Combine all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, and salt in a medium bowl, or on a clean surface. Create a well in the center and add the olive oil. Crack the eggs into the well one by one, stirring quickly with a fork until the dough starts to form. Knead on a floured surface until the dough becomes firm and elastic. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes to soften.
-
Roll the dough out using a rolling pin or a pasta machine to your preferred noodle thickness. Cut into your desired shapes and let the pasta dry for at least 15 minutes to prevent sticking.
How to cook fresh pasta
Bring a large pot of water with a pinch of salt to a boil. Add the pasta and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Fresh pasta cooks quickly and will rise to the surface once done. Drain and use as desired.
