Bilt Rent Day (November 1): Enjoy a British Airways transfer bonus of up to 100%, double points on non-rent purchases, and more.

Great news for Bilt Rewards members: November 1 marks another Bilt Rent Day.

As with previous Rent Days, you can earn double points on non-rent purchases, book a Bilt Neighborhood Dining Series experience, and participate in the Rent Free game. Additionally, Bilt is offering a British Airways transfer bonus along with a special waived transaction fee for Alaska cardholders this Rent Day.

Here’s what you should know about the promotions for November's Bilt Rent Day.

British Airways transfer promotion

On this Rent Day, you can take advantage of a targeted transfer bonus ranging from 50% to 100% when you move Bilt Points to British Airways Executive Club by November 2 at 2:59 p.m. EDT.

You can discover your targeted transfer bonus by logging into your account via the Bilt app or website. Bilt points can be exchanged for Avios in increments of 1,000 points, but Blue members are required to transfer a minimum of 2,000 points.

Just a reminder: British Airways Avios can be used to book domestic flights on American Airlines and Alaska Airlines, meaning you can find great value without needing to travel internationally.

No transaction fee on rent payments for eligible Alaska cardholders

This Rent Day, select Bilt members can take advantage of an offer to use their Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® credit card for rent payments, allowing them to receive a 3% transaction fee waiver (on the first $2,500 of rent, up to a $75 fee waiver).

If you qualify for this offer, you can benefit from a waived transaction fee when using your Alaska card for rent payments by November 2 at 2:59 p.m. EDT. Note that any rent spending beyond $2,500 will incur a 3% fee.

Bonus Bilt points on purchases that are not rent-related

Similar to previous Bilt Rent Days, you can earn double points until November 2 at 2:59 a.m. EDT when you use your Bilt Mastercard® (see rates and fees) for non-rent purchases. Here's how points are awarded for purchases on each Rent Day:

• Dining: 6 points for every dollar spent
• Travel: 4 points for every dollar spent
• Other purchases (excluding rent): 2 points for every dollar spent
• Rent: 1 point for every dollar spent (capped at 100,000 points per calendar year)

To earn points, you need to use the card five times within a statement period (see rewards and benefits). Keep in mind, you can earn a maximum of 1,000 bonus points on purchases with your Bilt Mastercard each Rent Day.

Rent Free game

In August 2023, Bilt introduced a fresh way to win free rent for a month (up to $2,500): the Rent Free game show. Since then, Bilt has hosted the Rent Free game show on each Rent Day, featuring a different creator or celebrity each month. This month, the special guest is the iconic American businesswoman Martha Stewart.

You'll accumulate points by selecting a top-three answer, accurately ranking that answer, and matching your answer with the celebrity guest's choice. Make sure to access the Bilt app to participate in the game by November 1 at 3 p.m. EDT. Afterward, check back on the app at 4 p.m. EDT to view your score.

The top 10 players will win free rent for a month (up to $2,500) and a signed edition of Stewart's latest book. Additionally, the next 600 highest-scoring members will receive Bilt points. In case of a tie with another Bilt member, the tiebreaker will be determined by who played the game first.

Bilt Neighborhood Dining Series

Bilt is continuing its Neighborhood Dining Series this November Rent Day. Each month, Bilt offers reservations at a curated selection of Neighborhood Dining restaurants starting at $50 or 3,500 Bilt points per person. Most reservations feature a tasting menu paired with premium cocktails, and this month includes options for a cocktail pairing experience and a happy hour.

Reservations for November Rent Day became available in the Bilt app and on the website on October 29. As a result, many spots have already filled up. However, it's still worth checking for availability in your city.

Rent Day SoulCycle rides

Bilt will also host Rent Day SoulCycle rides on November 1. These 45-minute sessions provide a comprehensive indoor cycling workout. Additionally, Bilt will award one rider participating in a November Rent Day Ride class up to $2,500 to help cover a month's rent.

Bilt members can book their rides via the Bilt app and enjoy complimentary bikes in special Rent Day-themed classes at over 50 locations, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations opened on October 30, but some bikes may still be available for a Rent Day ride near you. If you need to cancel your booking, be aware that a $30 late-cancellation or no-show fee may apply.

History of Rent Day promotions

Bilt provides at least one unique promotion every Rent Day, alongside its usual offerings. For November Rent Day, you can take advantage of a 50-100% British Airways transfer bonus and waived transaction fees when using your Alaska card for rent payments. Additionally, Thanksgiving-themed cooking classes and a promotion of 2 points per dollar on groceries (up to 500 bonus points) were available this Rent Day, but these have now ended or sold out.

Here's a recap of the promotions we've observed on past Rent Days:

• October 2024: Bilt introduced a Hilton Gold status match available until December 31, 2024, offering the chance to secure Gold status or upgrade to Diamond by March 31, 2026. This month also featured more Virgin Voyages experiences with a complimentary second guest and new targeted Bilt benefits for selected cardholders.
• September 2024: Bilt provided a 50% transfer bonus to Avianca LifeMiles and a status-based transfer bonus of 20%-100% to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club or Virgin Red. Additionally, they offered more Virgin Voyages experiences with a second guest free and a buy one, get one ResortPass deal.
• August 2024: Bilt rolled out extra onboard benefits and a complimentary second guest on select Virgin Voyages sailings, along with access to an exclusive event at Blade Lounge East in New York City.
• July 2024: Bilt launched its Neighborhood Dining Series and provided a status-based transfer bonus and status match with the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan program.
• June 2024: Bilt hosted Rent Day Brunch experiences in four cities, allowing members to earn 5 or 10 bonus points per dollar spent at Neighborhood Dining restaurants.
• May 2024: Bilt members could book family-style dining experiences at neighborhood restaurants in eight cities, and members earned 100% of their points back (between 1,000 and 50,000 points) towards the Bilt Home Collection when redeeming points for rent from April 25 to May 1.
• April 2024: Bilt members enjoyed fitness experiences at various studios nationwide, a buy one, get one fitness class offer, and options to purchase new fitness gear.
• March 2024: Bilt members could reserve tickets for the men's college basketball tournament as Bilt Experiences and voted in a single-elimination bracket for March Rent Day benefits. The winning option allowed members to earn 1,000 points for linking a new credit card (up to two cards), while earning 5 points per dollar spent at grocery stores (valid up to 2,000 points) when using the Bilt Mastercard finished in second place.
• February 2024: Bilt offered several Valentine's Day dinner reservations along with a status-based transfer bonus to Air Canada Aeroplan.
• January 2024: Bilt reintroduced top Rent Day promotions, including a $5 Lyft credit for Bilt cardholders, a 50% redemption bonus on Amazon, and status-based transfer bonuses to IHG One Rewards, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, and Air France-KLM Flying Blue.
• December 2023: Bilt organized a special tasting event in New York City for cardholders on December 1, offered increased points at Bilt Dining restaurants from November 24 to December 1, and provided double points on purchases that usually earn 1 point per dollar from November 23 to November 27.
• November 2023: Bilt presented exclusive Bilt Experiences at select restaurants and a status-based transfer bonus to Emirates Skywards.
• October 2023: Bilt debuted Bilt Experiences at three professional football games and offered 5 points per dollar on eligible sports ticket purchases (up to 10,000 bonus points).
• September 2023: Bilt expanded its Rent Day Rides to every SoulCycle studio in the U.S., providing 10 complimentary bikes per class. For the September 1 Rent Day, Bilt covered a month's rent (up to $2,500) for one rider in each Rent Day Ride class.
• August 2023: A transfer bonus of 75% to 150% to Virgin Red was available based on your Bilt status tier as of August 1.
• July 2023: You could activate a $10 Lyft ride credit if you were a Bilt member without a Bilt Mastercard or a $20 Lyft ride credit if you had a Bilt Mastercard by the end of July 1. Additionally, an extra $5 credit was available if you activated the offer, had Bilt set as your active Lyft loyalty partner, and completed a Lyft ride on July 1.
• June 2023: Everyone received a gift of Bilt points, which could be used for the Bilt Collection, Lyft ride credit, free rent, or round-trip award flights upon solving the June 1 Rent Day Challenge puzzle.
• May 2023: A 100% transfer bonus to Air France-KLM Flying Blue was available on May 1.
• April 2023: Bilt members had the opportunity to enroll between March 28 and April 1, 2023, for World of Hyatt Explorist status for 90 days, with the chance to maintain that status through February 2025 by staying 10 qualifying nights from April 17 to July 16, 2023. Members could also achieve Globalist status through February 2025 by staying 20 qualifying nights in the same time frame. Bilt also held exclusive social events for members at three Hyatt properties on April 1, 2023.
• March 2023: Members received a 50% bonus when redeeming points for Amazon purchases on March 1 and enjoyed a 50% discount on all items in the Bilt Collection on the same day.
• February 2023: A 100% transfer bonus to HawaiianMiles was available on February 1. Additionally, Bilt introduced an exclusive five-piece capsule collection with SoulCycle.
• January 2023: Bilt introduced trivia to Rent Day, presenting its members with 10 trivia questions worth 50 points each, plus an additional question worth 100 points if all 10 questions were answered correctly on January 1.
• December 2022: A 100% transfer bonus to IHG One Rewards was available on December 1, along with double points on non-rent spending from 12:01 a.m. PST on November 25 to 11:59 p.m. PST on December 1.
• November 2022: Bilt members had the chance to enroll in a complimentary United Airlines Premier status challenge from October 27 to November 1. Bilt Blue tier members could attain Premier Silver, while Silver, Gold, and Platinum tier members could achieve Premier Gold. Premier status was valid for 120 days, with options to extend it through January 31, 2024, by earning 1,000 Premier qualifying points and completing 4 Premier qualifying flights for Premier Silver, or 2,000 PQPs and 6 PQFs for Premier Gold.
• October 2022: Bilt launched Rent Day, offering double points on non-rent spending and themed SoulCycle Rent Day rides starting October 1.
