Cambodia Lifts Quarantine for Vaccinated Travelers

Starting November 15, Cambodia will no longer require quarantine for travelers who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19, as confirmed by Prime Minister Hun Sen on Sunday.
The Prime Minister made the announcement via a voice message on social media, marking the end of over 18 months of strict quarantine measures in the Southeast Asian nation.
“Travelers with two vaccine doses and a negative Covid test will be free to travel anywhere in Cambodia,” he stated.
Hun Sen clarified that travelers must present a negative Covid test taken within 72 hours of departure and proof of two vaccine doses. Unvaccinated individuals will still be required to undergo a 14-day quarantine.
Hun Sen announced that vaccinated foreign nationals and Cambodians currently in quarantine will be permitted to leave starting November 15.
He emphasized, 'This is a fast track to reopening the country and making travel easier for our people. Many citizens have expressed a desire to travel abroad but are concerned about being quarantined upon return.'
With nearly 90% of its population vaccinated, Cambodia boasts one of the highest vaccination rates in Asia, covering over 16 million people.
