This generous promotion lets travelers earn 2,500 bonus Hilton Honors points for each stay between September 3 and December 31—that's nearly four months to rack up bonus points.
Additionally, you can currently earn double points on all Hilton stays by registering at hiltonhonors.com.
Here’s a summary of the Power Up promotion.
Hilton's latest Power Up promotion

To benefit from this deal, you must first register for the promotion. After registration, you can earn 2,500 bonus points for each stay, regardless of the number of nights. Whether you stay for one night or a week, you’ll receive the same bonus points.
There’s no cap on the points you can earn, and this promotion applies to all hotels and resorts in the Hilton portfolio.
Furthermore, if you check in before September 3, you can still earn bonus points as long as your stay concludes on or after September 3 and before December 31.
The bonus points do not contribute toward Hilton elite status qualifications.
What is the value of Hilton Honors points?
According to TPG's August 2024 valuations, Hilton points are valued at 0.6 cents each, meaning that 2,500 bonus points equate to approximately $15.
Boost your earnings with a Hilton credit card
While earning an additional 2,500 bonus points on top of your regular stay points is a great benefit, using a Hilton cobranded credit card can significantly enhance your earnings.
Here are some of our top recommended cobranded Hilton credit cards to consider for your bookings.
- Hilton Honors American Express Card: Earn 80,000 Hilton Honors bonus points after spending $2,000 on purchases within the first three months of card membership, with no annual fee (see rates and fees). Earn 7 points for every dollar spent on eligible purchases at Hilton hotels and resorts. Terms apply.
- Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card: Earn 130,000 Hilton Honors bonus points after spending $3,000 on purchases within the first six months of card membership. Earn 12 points for every dollar spent on eligible purchases at Hilton hotels and resorts ($150 annual fee; see rates and fees).
- The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card: Earn 130,000 Hilton Honors bonus points after spending $6,000 on purchases within the first six months of card membership. Earn 12 points for every dollar spent on eligible purchases at Hilton hotels and resorts ($195 annual fee; see rates and fees).
If you don't have a cobranded Hilton credit card, you can still maximize your rewards by using a card that earns transferable points, such as The Platinum Card® from American Express, which provides 5 Membership Rewards points for every dollar spent on prepaid hotel bookings made through American Express Travel.
Additionally, this card offers $200 back in statement credits each year on prepaid Fine Hotels + Resorts or The Hotel Collection reservations through American Express Travel.
Amex points transfer to Hilton Honors at a 1:2 ratio, with a minimum transfer requirement of 200 points.
Redeeming your Hilton Honors points
If you're unsure how to use your Hilton points, take a look at our guide to maximizing redemptions within the Hilton Honors program. Whether you’re interested in luxury stays at places like the Conrad Bora Bora Nui or more budget-friendly options at brands like Hampton or Embassy Suites, you can often achieve greater value per Hilton point with the right redemption strategy.
Bottom line
This promotion is an excellent opportunity for Hilton stays in the latter half of the year and could yield a substantial number of Hilton Honors points, especially if you combine the points bonus with those earned through a Hilton cobranded credit card.
Even if you don’t have any Hilton stays on the horizon, registering for the promotion only takes a minute, and it could prove useful later on.
