Cruise baggage tags: A downloadable PDF with a TPG twist

Once you've checked in for your cruise, remember to grab your luggage tags — and I’m not referring to those hard plastic ones with your contact details attached to your bags for when they get lost.
Typically, your cruise line will supply a PDF of luggage tags to print as part of your electronic travel documents after you've registered and provided the required information. However, if you’re looking for a change from the usual cruise line tags, take a look at our unique TPG version below, which you can use alongside those provided by your cruise line.

Steps to print cruise luggage tags
- Open the PDF luggage tag by clicking the link above. Ensure you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your device.
- Click the printer icon located at the top right of the screen.
- Select your printer and adjust the page orientation, size, and color as needed; then set the number of copies required. (Print one copy for each piece of luggage you'll leave with porters at the terminal. No need for tags on items you’ll carry onto the ship.)
- Press the "print" button.
How to properly attach cruise luggage tags
- Using a pen, write your name, the ship's name, your sailing date, and cabin number on the designated lines.
- Turn the page over so the printed side faces down.
- Starting at one end, fold the paper in half lengthwise twice toward the center, using the printed lines as a guide.
- Repeat the folding process from the opposite end. (The aim is to create a long, narrow strip that showcases only the tag portion with the TPG logo and information lines, while the rest is folded underneath for thickness.)
- Insert the tag face down through the handle of your suitcase.
- Overlap the ends to align the yellow bars, forming a ring, and secure the tag using a staple or tape.
Tip: If you're flying to your embarkation point, wait to attach the tags until after your flight to prevent them from detaching in transit. Remember to use these in addition to your cruise line's printable tags, rather than as a replacement.
For a more durable option to showcase your luggage tag details, I suggest using these reusable protective cruise luggage tag holders, which are less prone to tearing compared to paper. Alternatively, you can laminate your folded luggage tags using packing tape to avoid damage before attaching them to your bag.
