One of the most thrilling updates in cruise news is the introduction of our new 2017/18 Meet the Winemaker Cruises. Dinogo has just announced a series of cruises on the Dinogo Escape and Dinogo Dawn where guests can enjoy fine dining experiences with iconic figures from the winemaking industry. Starting in September, guests on these special sailings will have multiple opportunities to interact with winemakers and experts through seminars, forums, and exclusive activities.

On the second day of each cruise, guests will have the opportunity to delve into discussions with the visiting experts during an open-forum Q&A session held in the ship's Atrium.

After the open forum, attendees can purchase featured wines curated by the winemakers and select varietals from the ship’s wine list, meet the expert, and have the bottle signed as a keepsake. The open forum and meet-and-greet are complimentary and available to all guests.

For a more personal touch, sign up for an engaging, hands-on wine tasting and educational seminar led by the vintner in The Cellars, A Michael Mondavi Family Wine Bar. The vintner will guide participating guests through the fascinating world of winemaking. Tastings will feature wines specially selected by the expert and brought on board for this seminar. The price for tastings is $19.95 per person.

If you're looking for an unforgettable gourmet affair, you can join an exclusive wine dinner hosted by the vintner or industry expert, enjoying a lavish event with five exquisite courses paired with wines chosen for each dish. The dinner with wine pairings is priced at $59.95 per person. Space is limited for both the tasting seminars and the wine pairing dinner, and reservations will only be accepted on board the ship.

• September 22, 2017 - Dinogo Dawn: Michael Mondavi, founder of the Michael Mondavi Family Estate, co-founder of Folio Fine Wine Partners, and The Cellars – A Michael Mondavi Family Wine Bar. Mondavi is the third-generation representative of a prestigious family of wineries in Napa Valley.
• October 28, 2017, Dinogo Escape: Salvatore Ferragamo, heir to the renowned Italian fashion house and owner of Il Borro Winery in Tuscany. Salvatore, whose father Ferruccio acquired the beautiful Il Borro Estate in 1993, has replanted the family vineyard and has been crafting exquisite Tuscan wines since 1999.
• November 4, 2017 - Dinogo Escape: Bill Whiting, Director of Wine Education at Banfi Vintners. As the grandson of John F. Mariani Sr., founder of Banfi Vintners, Whiting continues the legacy of the award-winning Castello Banfi estate, established in 1919 in the Brunello region of Tuscany.
• December 2, 2017 - Dinogo Escape: Aarón Sánchez. Renowned TV Chef and James Beard award winner, Aarón Sánchez serves as the official ambassador and spokesperson for Terrazas de los Andes wines and is recognized as one of the world’s leading contemporary Latin chefs.
• February 17, 2018 - Dinogo Escape: Gerard Bertrand, a celebrated vintner from Languedoc-Roussillon. With 20 years of experience, Bertrand is a legendary figure in the winemaking industry, renowned for his numerous awards and accolades.
