Dinogo Readers’ Top 15 U.S. Resorts for 2023
For a getaway that goes beyond cityscapes, nothing rivals the breathtaking views and endless activities offered by premier U.S. resorts. This year, Dinogo readers voted for a remarkable array of properties, from the slopes of Aspen to the shores of Nantucket.
Voting Process Explained
Each year, during our World's Best Awards survey, T+L invites readers to share their travel experiences worldwide — offering insights on the best hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise lines, spas, airlines, and more. Nearly 165,000 T+L readers participated in the 2023 survey, reflecting a nearly 25% increase compared to pre-pandemic voting. Over 685,000 votes were collected across more than 8,500 distinct properties (hotels, cities, cruise lines, etc.).
Properties were categorized as resort hotels, city hotels, or safari lodges based on their location and amenities, and they were evaluated on the criteria listed below:
- Room Features
- Location
- Service Quality
- Culinary Experience
- Overall Value
Respondents could rate each attribute as excellent, above average, average, below average, or poor. The final scores reflect the average of these ratings.
