Annually, for our World's Best Awards survey, T+L invites readers to share their travel experiences worldwide, providing insights on the best hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise lines, spas, airlines, and more. In 2023, nearly 165,000 T+L readers participated, reflecting a 25 percent increase compared to pre-pandemic voting. A total of over 685,000 votes were cast across more than 8,500 distinct properties (including hotels, cities, cruise lines, etc.).

What Readers Appreciated

This year's World's Best Awards saw readers selecting a variety of accommodations in New Orleans, from quirky inns revitalizing historic structures to classic luxury hotels exuding timeless elegance.
